Fabric blinds

Our hand made blinds are inspired by traditional blind making methods to ensure lasting quality whilst considering our environmental promise.

We offer Roman blinds, Reverse-Roman blinds and bespoke projects to consider your priorities and specific needs. Do you need to shade the sun from the top of the window? Do you mainly need privacy? Do you need to block out all light or allow as much light as possible? Is insulation your priority? Or are you looking for a unique bespoke design as a feature?

If you are considering a Roman or Reverse Roman blind and are based near Marlborough please contact us to arrange a visit to your property when we can give a full consultation on factors such as positioning, fixtures and lining options as well as advise on fabric choices. We can also take window measurements to provide a no obligation quote and, if you would like to go ahead, ensure the best guaranteed fit for your blind.

Roman blinds

Our standard Roman blinds are all handmade in our Marlborough studio from high quality natural materials using traditional robust techniques. Our blinds involve a mix of machine and hand (stab) stitching to ensure they are made to last with no stitch lines visible on the front of the blind.

Roman blinds are a particularly good option if you need shade and would like to cover your window from the top down.

Reverse Roman blind

Our Reverse Roman Blinds are our own design created by Ronni herself after the completion of her Design MA in Bristol. They play on the idea of revealing and celebrating mechanisms and make a feature of all the parts rather than hiding them away. Oak rods, metal eyes and beautiful cords are revealed at the front to create a high quality, creative piece.

This design is particularly useful if you have a shallow reveal and there is a risk of blind cords catching on a protruding window handle.

All our blinds can be made with a range of plain or coloured cords and brass or steel parts.

Roman blinds for unique windows

Let us find a solution to your unique window shapes

This blind was designed for a modern newly built house in Aldbourne, Wiltshire. Usually roman blinds created for angled windows only lift up on the straight lower section however these were designed to pull up at an angle all the way to the top to allow more light into the room.
